Our "Taking your next steps in surgery" day is aimed at Vets who are less experienced or confident in surgery. Vets who wish to build their decision making skills and surgical knowledge, to be prepared to perform a broader range of procedures in practice with confidence will benefit from this course. Our 'Upgrade Your Anaesthesia Skills' is aimed at vets and nurses wanting to keep their patients safer and more comfortable during general anaesthetics. Participants will learn tips and tricks that they can use in every day cases, from local anaesthetics, to selecting the most appropriate drug choices to how to make their anaesthetics greeener for the environment. It is aimed at any level of anaesthetic experience within veterinary, as there will be something for everyone to learn more about.
Our 'Open Wide: Tips and Tricks for GP Veterinary Dentistry' is aimed at any vet undertaking dentals in GP practice, whether you have completed 10 or 1000. Participants will come away from the day armed with knowledge that will make dental admits, dental set ups and the dentals themselves all smoother. Our "Taking your next steps in surgery" course is run by Jonny Faire BVetMed MRCVS GPCertSAS PgC(SAS) RCVS Advanced Practitioner - Small Animal Surgery. He is passionate about small animal surgery and enjoys teaching and sharing his experiences with others.
Our 'Upgrade your Anesthesia Skills' course is run by Aoife Ryan, board certified specialist in Anaesthesia and Analgesia, and Head of Anaesthesia at the Royal Veterinary College.
Not only is she leading within her veterinary field, but she has also completed multiple teaching qualifications. She is passionate about improving patient welfare, and believes education is a wonderful tool to get there!
'Open Wide: Tips and Tricks for GP Veterinary Dentistry' is run by the talented and down to earth Dave Deane, BVSc PgCertDent(WBIS) MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Dentistry. Dave is a wonderful teacher and excellent communicator and wants to make successful dentistry as accessible as possible.
Our courses are held in the conference room at Cardiff International Whitewater, Watkiss way, Cardiff Bay, CF11 0SY. There is ample parking outside. When you arrive, walk into reception and the conference room is directly upstairs (reception will point you in the right direction if needed).
